1. The site is designed to be easy to navigate. You won’t find any flashy, distracting graphics, and no commercial content. The small amount of advertising you see is only that which is necessary to sustain the site. The reviews are the thoughts and opinions of Canadian Traveler’s just like yourself and the easy to read design is intended to reflect that.
   
2. Destinations are indexed by location only. For tropical/resort locations each region within typical tropical getaways has its own subpage, with an up to date listing of the resorts available in that area. Simply click on the region under each heading, and choose your resort to browse reviews. Or, you can try to find locations, resorts, etc. via keyword search located on the first page.
   
3. For domestic travel within Canada and to the United States the boards operate a little more loosely. Essentially each board, still divided by region but in a more arbitrary way, is intended to be a forum to discuss each location. Hotel and tourist attraction (anti)recommendations are made in a general way and can be browsed by location, or accessed through the search feature at the top of each forum.
4. The forum search feature is a useful tool. If you can't find what you're looking for when browsing by location, if you're looking for information on a specific resort and don't know where to find it, try the forum search tool, or view all active/recently updated topics. This will highlight any and all references to your searched keywords posted in any category across the board.

Just remember, though we work hard to make the search as effective as possible, if you can't find what you're looking for its likely included somewhere on the site.
