Contributing

1. You can view and edit both reviews and polls as a guest, however, the process is much easier for those who register for the forums. You'll notice that on certain forums there isn't a 'New Topic' link. This is because these forums weren't meant for posting. You'll have to navigate a little deeper, find your region and resort to make a post. When the 'New Topic' link pops up simply fill out the required information and submit your post.
2. Feel  free to write as much or as little as you like, though, the more detailed your comments are, the more valuable they will be to other Canadian Travelers. Your review can take any format you wish, however, if you're stuck for ideas consider this an example: Barcelo Maya Colonial review by thecanadiantraveler
3. The intent is not to be malicious, slanderous, etc. Your posts are reviewed by our moderators, however, we accept no responsibility for their content. All we ask is that reviewers give their true and honest opinion of their travel experience and relate that in an appropriate way to our readers.
   
4. Please vote in the polls available for each resort, as they provide a quick, easy to read, visual reference to overall opinion of experiences at each destination. There are four polls available for each resort to give ratings on some specific areas of interest, when voting, please vote only on one poll at a time.
5. When writing a review, feel free - if you are comfortable - including some information on yourself (age, family status, etc.). This is not necessary, but others may find it valuable to know some specifics. i.e. In most cases there is a difference between the way 20 year old spring breakers and married couples with children experience a resort.
   
6. In addition to your comments we encourage you to submit photos of your trip for inclusion in our user pictures gallery. Photos will be indexed by location and user. In most instances try to avoid photos of yourself, rather of the resort, destination, attraction, etc. You can view these pictures as a guest, however, like the form you will have to register (separately) to upload content.
   • We reserve the right to edit, delete or otherwise alter user submitted content (photos, forum posts, etc.) that is deemed inappropriate, or when necessary revisions (i.e. photo size too large) are required.
7. Please keep your posts relevant and on topic. Inappropriate content will not be published so don’t waste your time.
8. Feel free to reply to resort reviews, attraction comments, etc. Ask any questions you may have about a particular users experience, or a particular destination. Though we can't guarantee the original poster will respond to your queries, it always helps to share your thoughts, and likely another traveler will be able to help you out.
9.  If you see a listing that is incorrect, out of date, or missing (or have any other comments about site contents, navigation, etc.) please contact us at feed. This site is entirely user content driven, and therefore we take your recommendations seriously.
