The content is entirely driven by your contributions, you won't see any corporate information, photos, reviews, etc. This format will help you get a true picture of the Canadian experience abroad, and help you decide where to take your trip, what to see and everything else relevant to your vacation planning. The content is completely user created and oriented, this means two things: you can trust the our vacation information, when you are reading a review you're getting an honest opinion of a real person and not the corporate 'spin'; and it also means we need your help! The first step to getting started writing is signing up for the forums, although you can write a review as a guest, the process is much easier for registered users and the more you post, the more recognizable you will be to fellow members. More than just a travel review site, we hope that The Canadian Traveler can assist in all areas of your trip planning. The Ask a Traveler section of the site allows you to post any burning questions that you have before your vacation, and await a reply from another knowledgeable traveler or a member of the Canadian Traveler team.

We aren't trying to sell you anything. You can't plan your trip here, there are no deals, no promoted hotel chains. Just information from Canadians about their lived vacation experiences. The small bit of advertising you see is just enough to make this site sustainable. It's meant to be unobtrusive, and the site is designed to be easy to navigate so that you can get the information you need quickly. Because this site belongs to you, The Canadian Traveler, we welcome your input. If there is something you think is missing, please contact us.
